Places We Will Never Go: 5

We run together
A slow trot, listening to the bird calls
Smelling the morning sea air

At the bottom of the hill
we race up
running as hard as we can
Each of us wanting the other to win

We arrive at the mountain top together
Together
each of us did win.

We look to the north
In my arms gently
I embrace you

Why so long my love? Why did we wait so long ?

Enigmatic smile and a kiss,
as lightly as the breeze blowing over me as I write.

We turn and walk down the mountain, 5th fingers intertwined
shoulders touching

My love
