On the rocky
beach
of our Teserak
Seriphos
I walk
Alone
bruised and battered
many battles
most lost
But I am walking
I am walking
There are tears in my eyes –
eyes that have seen such beauty and
love –
eyes that are now blinded
even as I walk
even as I write
with tears
Seriphos
An island of such beauty
with such memories
Seriphos
Olive groves and
shooting stars
walks together on the waterfront
Seriphos
Lying together in our
teserak
under the boughs of the
silver-green olive trees
leaves rustling in the
light island breeze
In the distance
the sounds of lovers
laughing, talking
We lie under these silver-green
boughs
Fingers touching
But
walking alone
Remembering those times
as I walk this path
Brings such pleasure
but also such pain
As if my heart is being
eaten
As if
I am Prometheus
I didn’t bring fire
I brought love
Only to 2 people
And for this i am being punished
My heart torn to
shreds
Walking alone
Bruised
battered
No weapons
No armor
Naked
How will I survive
until my love returns
How
Helen
Persephanie
Penelope
I think of you
Only you
with each breath
